Live standings, player stats, schedule, and predictions for the 2026 Premier Lacrosse League season. Every team. Every game. Every stat.
Updated: May 2026
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is the premier professional field lacrosse league in North America, featuring 8 teams competing in a touring model β games are played in major cities nationwide rather than at permanent home venues. Founded by Paul Rabil and his brother Mike in 2019, the PLL features the best players in the world, many fresh off NCAA careers. The 2026 season runs from May through September, with the PLL Championship on September 19-20. The league uses a 12-game regular season β each team plays in-conference opponents twice and out-of-conference opponents once β split into Eastern and Western conferences, with the top 3 teams in each conference qualifying for the playoffs and the last-place team in each conference missing out. NLL Overlap: Many PLL players also compete in the National Lacrosse League (NLL, indoor/box lacrosse) during the winter. The NLL Championship β Toronto Rock swept Halifax Thunderbirds 2-0. Toronto won Game 2 on Sunday May 17, 12-7, at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax. Nick Rose made 34 saves, Owen Hiltz and Chris Boushy each scored 3 goals, and Sam English was named Playoff MVP. All NLL players are now fully available for PLL duty. The Buffalo Bandits were eliminated in the NLL semis on May 10, releasing Brett Dobson (Archers, who signed an extension through 2029) and six Chaos players (Byrne, Cloutier, Fraser, Smith, MacKay, Adler) back to PLL duty. Jeff Teat (Atlas) missed his first two games (PUP, Achilles), and Trevor Baptiste and Danny Logan also joined him on the PUP list. The Womenβs Lacrosse League (WLL) launched its inaugural season during PLL Week 2 in Rhode Island β the New York Charging (2026 Championship Series winners) beat Boston Guard 17-12 on Saturday May 16 at 5:30PM ET on ESPN+.

How does the PLL touring model work?
Unlike traditional sports leagues with home cities, the PLL is a touring league. All 8 teams travel to a single city each weekend for a doubleheader or tripleheader. This model maximizes national exposure and creates event-style experiences in each market. Games are broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+.
How do PLL playoffs work in 2026?
New for 2026: The PLL is split into Eastern and Western conferences. Each team plays 12 games (in-conference opponents twice, out-of-conference opponents once). The top 3 teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs, while the last-place team in each conference is eliminated. The playoffs are single elimination: quarterfinals (Aug 29-30), semifinals (Sept 7), and championship (Sept 19-20). The 2025 champion was New York Atlas, who defeated Carolina Chaos 24-16.
Who are the best PLL players to watch in 2026?
Top players include Connor Shellenberger (Atlas, 2025 MVP), Levi Anderson (Atlas, 7 pts in Week 1), Michael Sowers (Waterdogs, 7 pts through 2 games but held to 2 in Wk2), Coulter Mackesy (Cannons, 6 pts in historic Wk2 win), Aidan Carroll (Whipsnakes, 4G in Wk2), and Dillon Ward (Redwoods, 65% SV% through 2 games). Emmett Carroll (Whipsnakes) posted 18 saves/75% SV% in Week 2. Many PLL stars also play in the NLL (indoor/box lacrosse) during the winter.
